Natural Caturron
Our featured filter coffees are roasted specifically for soft brewing methods: filters, pour-overs, and infusions. This will typically mean a lighter roast, and while it can be brewed through pressurized methods like espresso, we haven't roasted it with this in mind. Our featured filter coffees are here for a good time, not a long time - expect it to change every few weeks or once it runs out! This one came from:
Finca Villa Betulia in Huila, Colombia. The farm is owned by Luis Anibal Calderon, arguably Colombia's best producer of Specialty varietals and interesting preparation methods.
It's a natural processed coffee of the unique Caturron varietal and grown at 1500 masl. We have roasted with a very close eye on development time, and the lighter roast really brings the fruitiness to the front and centre.
It. Is. Crazy. This coffee easily scores in the very high 80s, so if you are wanting to indulge in something unique, this is one of the booziest, fruitiest coffees ever.
We have very limited supply! Also available in 125g.
